Cake Care Instructions
At NiolaBakes, we craft every cake with care and attention to detail, ensuring it is both visually stunning and delicious. To keep your cake in perfect condition before and after your event, follow these simple care and handling instructions:
Transporting Your Cake
- Place the cake on a flat, level surface, such as the floor of a car, during transportation.
- Avoid holding the cake box on your lap or placing it on slanted surfaces.
- Keep the cake in an air-conditioned car to maintain its freshness and stability.
- Always support the cake box from underneath with both hands when carrying it.
Storing Your Cake
- If not served immediately, store the cake in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
- For short-term storage, place the cake in a cool, dry area, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Before serving, allow the cake to come to room temperature for the best flavor and texture.
Serving Your Cake
- To ensure moistness, take the cake out of the refrigerator at least one hour before serving.
- Use a sharp knife for clean, even slices.
- Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent drying out.
- For long-term storage, freeze leftovers in individual portions to retain their freshness.
Safety Notes
- Remove all decorative elements, such as fondant toppers, flowers, or dowels, before serving.
- Avoid smashing faces into cakes as some designs may contain support dowels.
- Consume the cake within 3 days for the best taste and quality.
Allergy Information
- Our cakes contain eggs, milk, and wheat, which are common allergens.
- While we do not use nuts in our cakes, our baked goods may contain traces of nuts.
